Better Self, Better World.

We’ve all been spoilt for choices,
We’re constantly bombarded with information.
But has this helped us make better decisions?
Or has it simply increased our hesitation?

We’re all fans of improved technology,
and are awestruck by innovation.
The virtual world connects us all,
yet relationships suffer from fragmentation.

Are we living or just coping with life?
Is competition eating away our emotion?
Our love for Power has only done us harm,
and now Love itself is a victim of adulteration.

Do we want to rectify the damage that’s done?
Or have we gotten used to this trend?
If we could at least be honest with ourselves,
most of our miseries would end.
