Unbiased Nature

Two worlds sleep
listening to the rain lullaby.
One in a home,
the other under the open sky.

While one world is tucked
in a comfortable quilt,
the other seeks warmth
from a pile of filth.

They meet each other
daily on the street,
one sits in a car
and the other walks bare feet.

They are so different from each other
in almost every way,
like animals that are domestic
and those that are stray.

They both have dreams and desires,
only one tastes success, while the other admires.
Yet life is a struggle for the former as well as the latter,
whether rich or poor, it doesn't matter.

Differentiated by fate, money, social stature,
we are equal in the eyes of nature.
Our journeys began in our mother's womb,
death will take us all to our tomb.
