A Diamond in the making

She was young and inexperienced,
a mere novice in the industry.
But she was smart and diligent,
and never compromised on her integrity

She was better than most of her peers,
Yet she conducted herself with grace and humility.
She was caring, she was helpful,
And she charmed everyone with her simplicity.

But what she was about to experience,
Was an unexpected and unforeseen event
Scapegoat to her superior’s malice,
She could not escape this torment.

Belittled, berated, disheartened and demotivated
Yet she neither argued nor complained.
Realizing that her service would soon be terminated,
Her emotions could now not be contained.

The lump in her throat didn’t let her speak.
So she let her tears fall into the sea,
In the hope that they will soon evaporate,
And rise up to meet the Almighty.

From the cloud He identified her tears,
He knew her heart had been aching.
But she needed this experience for perfecting her facet
For she was His diamond in the making.
